Drum circles

A drum circle is a session in which people play hand drums or percussion pieces sitting in a circle. It is not in order to prepare to any performance, it is rather the for the joy of playing in itself and it can have many health benefits such as relief from stress and anxiety, pain relief, boost of the immunity system.

Soundscapes

These are the sessions where the participants are encouraged to become creative with sounds themselves and either work on the dynamics of a group, so it could be used as an integration tool, or work on individual level just doing it in a group (opportunity to get a feedback) and sharing with other people.

What is so healing about sound

We all like some type of music, whether it’s classical or hip-hop, some of us even like to sing or play an instrument. In one way or another we are drawn towards the world of sounds, which always has some sort of effect on us, whether we like it or not. We enjoy the sounds of nature like tree leaves rustling or sea waves crashing. The truth about these phenomena is more profound than it would have seemed.

Sound is energy

and like any other kind of energy it is a subject to the laws of physics. For instance energy flow means it never dies it only converts into another one. On the molecular level we can see it is a way of transferring ‘a message’ from one atom to another.
